I haven’t stopped thinking about what you said regarding "how form shapes content" and that whole “depth dilemma.” It really stayed with me, especially that bit about how we’ve stopped seeing a book as a deep work of research and started seeing it as just paragraphs waiting to be clipped or repurposed. It hit hard as it happens swiftly and we barely notice it.

Can we still slow down and actually sit with an idea long enough to let it change us in a world that keeps pushing for brevity and instant takeaways? I don't know the answer. But your writing is indeed a reminder in that direction. Thanks🙏

I too am a novice on Instagram and was happy to come across your reels. I was instantly impressed by your ability to condense important thoughts into short bites. Do not underestimate yourself- engaging an audience is no small feat and your depth of insight is not to be scoffed at. Simple ideas do change the world and in this era of short attention spans, it is not exactly a bad idea to spread strong thoughts in shallow waters. I am so glad I have come across your Substack essays and look forward to enjoying your deep dives. You write very well and who knows, maybe there is a book in the future. Best wishes, Dr Gita Arjun, @gitaarjun2
